Do you know where you are headed, in specific, quantifiable terms?
For instance, you could be
- aiming for a bigger market share
- trying to hit your performance targets
- changing careers or
- simply trying to find a decent job.
Whatever it is, you must know where you are heading.
Without a clear goal, you are simply busy with activity, not busy getting results.
In the words of Shakespeare, “like a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing!”
Without a clear direction, it does not matter how hard you work, because you will not get anywhere!
